Sweet Miscellany says, “These patties are not only very tasty, they are reeeealllly filling!  There was a lot of fiber and protein between the beans, rice, pumpkin, sprouted grain buns, and the nut-based crema.  I definitely did not go to bed hungry or wake up with a growling stomach.  Trust.”

Recipe Ingredients:
1/2 cup pumpkin puree (or sweet potato puree)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder (or 2 garlic cloves)
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp coriander
3/4 tsp sea salt
1 cup cooked and cooled brown rice
1-15 oz can black beans, rinsed and drained (or about 2 cups cooked black beans)
2 tbsp flaxmeal
about 1/3 cup oat flour
coconut oil to cook the patties…
